Message from SAPA President 2021

Dear Colleagues

I, on behalf of SAPA Limpopo MANCO, wish to take this opportunity to welcome you back to the very first Term of the academic year, 2021. We all hope that you are all recharged and re-energized for the huge task ahead of after our well-deserved recess.

We have noted your commitment and sacrifice towards having made the previous academic year a remarkable success, despite all challenges and contextual factors we collectively faced and triumphed over. We have proved ourselves that there is no mountain that is insurmountable and that there is no challenge that is beyond our strength and/or ability. The Covid-19 pandemic had not made our work easier, but we victoriously emerged stronger and wiser.

We believe that 2021 is going to be a great year as we gear ourselves to putting an added effort towards a successful implementation of the curriculum; and thus translating into a successful delivery of qualty education and improved learner attainment.

We, as SAPA Limpopo, have our 2021 Year Plan readily available, although we are not yet sure as to how it would unfold given the challenges posed to us by the pandemic. We already know that the 2021 Toronto ICP Conference has been postponed from August 2021 to July 2022. We plead with ourselves to observe the Covid-19 Health and Safety Protocols. Let’s continue creating safe and healthy environments in our schools.

Let’s also take advantage of this opportunity to strategically plan, plan and plan for our schools before the teaching staff could be joining us on the 1st day of February 2021.

Yes! We have started 2021 on a wrong footing with countless reported death cases of our colleagues within and outside our Province. We pray to the LORD GOD of Heaven for HIS divine mercy in this very terrifying and horrible time.
NKOSI Sikellel’ iAfrica!
MORENA boloka setšhaba sa gešo!

We request you (the reader) to take a moment of silence in honour of all our colleagues who passed on to glory. May the souls of our departed colleagues rest in perfect peace!

We will continue to need and support one another, because in SAPA: “We affirm school leaders!” and “We lead together!”

Best wishes for the 2021 Academic Year. As a SAPA Principal: “Brighten the corner where you are!”

Thank you very much and we love you all – we really do!

Secretariat!
